The Text-To-Speech (TTS) feature in Kickable allows you to notify the streamer of incoming donations and subscriptions through automated voice messages. You have the option to choose between basic TTS and advanced AI TTS, each with its own set of customization options.
Important Note about AI TTS: AI TTS offers an enhanced and more realistic TTS experience, but it requires additional setup and access to ElevenLabs' AI voice cloning services. To use AI TTS, make sure you have an active ElevenLabs API key and have successfully cloned a voice. Without a cloned voice, the AI TTS feature will not be available for configuration.
1. Basic TTS Cost and Voice Selection
The basic TTS feature in Kickable provides a cost-effective way to receive audible alerts for incoming donations. Here's how to configure it:
Basic TTS Cost (USD): The Basic TTS Cost determines the minimum donation amount required to trigger the TTS alert. Set your desired threshold in USD to start receiving voice notifications for donations.
Basic Voice Selection: Choose a voice from the available list of voices for the basic TTS feature. Each voice adds a unique touch to your TTS messages, allowing you to personalize the experience for your viewers.
2. AI TTS Cost and Voice Selection
The AI TTS feature takes the text-to-speech experience to the next level by providing advanced customization and more natural-sounding voices. However, please note that AI TTS can only be enabled and set up if you have an ElevenLabs API key and a cloned voice. Here's how to configure AI TTS:
AI TTS Cost (USD): The AI TTS Cost determines the minimum donation amount required to trigger the AI TTS alert. Set your desired threshold in USD for AI TTS messages.
AI Voice Selection (Based on Cloned Voices): With AI TTS, you can use cloned voices generated by ElevenLabs to give your TTS messages a more personalized touch. If you have a cloned voice available on ElevenLabs, you can select it from the list of voices in Kickable.
3. Subscription Sound Settings
Kickable allows you to customize the sounds for subscription notifications. Here are the available settings:
Subscription Sound Enabled: This boolean setting allows you to turn on/off the subscription sound notifications. When enabled, you and your viewers will hear a sound alert for each new subscription.
Subscription Sound Selection: Choose from a list of predefined sounds for your subscription notifications. Alternatively, you can set a custom audio URL or upload your own sound to make your subscription alerts more unique.
4. Enabling and Disabling TTS Features
To fine-tune your TTS experience, Kickable provides the flexibility to enable or disable TTS features:
TTS Enabled (Boolean): Enable or disable the basic TTS feature. When enabled, incoming donations above the specified Basic TTS Cost will trigger the chosen basic voice notification.
AI TTS Enabled (Boolean): Enable or disable the advanced AI TTS feature. Please note that AI TTS can only be enabled if you have provided an ElevenLabs API key and have access to a cloned voice.
